A shelter-in-place has been issued for portions of Carroll Township in northern York County on Monday night.

If you are a resident in the area of Chestnut Grove Road and South Fileys Road, you are asked to shelter in place, per the township police department.

Police are searching the area for a wanted person who fled on foot.

Residents are also to call 911 immediately if they see any suspicious people or activity in the area.
