The Sarnia Sting are chipping in $1.7 million for upgrades at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
In return, they’ll continue calling the day-to-day shots on food and beverage sale operations at the city’s flagship arena, and get 100 per cent of the commission from food and beverage sales.

Sarnia city council Monday unanimously accepted the offer, giving up the city’s 50 per cent commission stake in food and beverage sales.

Sarnia’s commission earned the city $90,000 in 2024, city treasurer Kristen McGill said.
