LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Police say a motorcyclist was transported to UMC unresponsive Monday evening after a northwest Las Vegas crash.

Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said a crash happened Monday at 3:45 p.m. on Cheyenne Avenue near Metro Academy Way, west of Grand Canyon Drive. Two motorcyclists were riding westbound on Cheyenne when a Tesla driver tried to make an eastbound turn

Police said one motorcyclist continued safely while the second was struck and was reported with critical injuries. When officers arrived, they said the motorcyclist was unresponsive and was taken to UMC Trauma.

The driver of the Tesla, police say, showed no signs of impairment.
