Former President Biden on Monday finished a round of radiation therapy to treat his aggressive former of prostate cancer, according to a Biden spokesperson.

The course lasted several weeks, and the former president is “doing well,” the spokesperson told The Hill’s sister network, NewsNation.

She did not comment on whether Biden’s medical team thinks he will need any additional rounds of radiation treatment.

Earlier this month, a spokesperson for the former president said, “As part of a treatment plan for prostate cancer, President Biden is currently undergoing radiation therapy and hormone treatment.”

NBC News, citing a source familiar with the matter, reported at the time that the treatment was expected to last five weeks.
