Going in, this one appeared to be a dream match-up.

No. 1 St. Joseph and No. 2 Arroyo Grande held down those Central Coast Athletic Association (CCAA) football rankings since the start of the 2025 season, and the two went at it in a Mountain League showdown Friday night.

No. 2 turned the showdown into a rout.

Caleb Clark ran for two touchdowns, caught a 32-yard pass from Jacob Kreowski for another score and the Eagles racked up a runaway 30-7 win at St. Joseph's Jay Will Stadium.

Arroyo Grande (5-4, 3-0) authoritatively ended St. Joseph's seven-game winning streak. The Knights are 7-1, 2-1.
