A moisture-starved cold front will bring increasing clouds and scattered rain showers to central Pennsylvania on Tuesday, marking the start of a cooler, unsettled weather pattern that could see the season’s first snowflakes in higher elevations.
Tuesday will be the warmest day of the week, with temperatures reaching the upper 60s to near 70 degrees in the Lower Susquehanna Valley. At the same time, northwest mountain areas will see more moderate temperatures in the mid-50s.
A cold front will push through the region during the afternoon, bringing increasing clouds and light rain showers, with precipitation expected to arrive in the Central Mountains after 4 p.m. and reach the Lower Susquehanna Valley between 6 and 8 p.m.
