The season's first win continues to elude the Coachella Valley Firebirds, but they did capture their first point Sunday with a 5-4 overtime loss at Bakersfield in their first road game of the season.

The Firebirds led 3-1 after the first period, thanks to a pair of goals by Ben Meyers including a short-handed tally with just six seconds left in the period.
