Collinsville Mayor Johnny Traffanstedt presided over his last Council meeting. His last day in office will be November 3rd. Traffanstedt has served for 17 years. He told everyone present he had enjoyed serving the City of Collinsville and wished the new Mayor and Council the best.

The Council approved a boundary line agreement with New View Outdoor for a parcel of land they had purchased to place a commercial billboard on.

During the Supervisors reports, Jenifer Wilkins gave the Library Report informing the Council about two of their partners. The Christian Ladies of Collinsville has been meeting for decades in Churches in the Community but just last year decided to meet at the Library.
