INDIANAPOLIS — Aaron Nesmith is staying in Indiana for the next four years, according to reports.

Locked On Pacers host Tony East reported Monday night that Nesmith has agreed to a two-year extension with the Pacers, keeping him in the blue and gold through the 2028-2029 season. ESPN insider Shams Charania reports the contract extension is worth $40.4 million, which is the most the Pacers were allowed to offer in the deal.

East reports Nesmith will earn $62 million over the next four seasons in his contract.

Nesmith is starting his fourth season with the Pacers after spending the first two years of his career in Boston. The small forward, who turned 26 on Oct. 16, is averaging 11.3 points per game during his time in Indiana.
