Mike Evans injury could be a lot worse than initially feared.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver was carted off after getting knocked out cold in the second quarter of Monday night’s loss to the Detroit Lions.

Evans made a return against Detroit after dealing with a hamstring injury and was attempting to snag a deep throw from Baker Mayfield, but coverage from Rock Ya-Sin forced it incomplete, also causing him to hit the ground, where he remained motionless before eventually leaving the field.

The veteran widout was ruled out with a shoulder injury and a concussion.

According to the Pewter Report, he could be out for the rest of the season as the team fears he sustained a broken collarbone.

The report notes that Evans “will miss significant time – possibly the rest of the season.”
