BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Leo Gonzalez and Tim Pavlas are vying for votes to serve on the Bryan ISD Board of Trustees, both told KBTX.

Gonzalez, a longtime attorney and real estate broker, currently serves in the role and wants to continue, he said.

“The main reason I’m running is I really feel that our parents, our students, and our teachers deserve a voice,” Gonzalez said. “If they have a problem, if they have a concern, I want them to be able to feel that they have an open door to the board to make sure that their rights are taken care of.”

Pavlas has worked as a banker for 25 years. He says he wants to improve upon the work already being done.
