PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - After 10 years, there’s still no lead in the shooting death of a 23-year-old man in downtown Portland.
The victim’s mother is still holding out hope the person who pulled the trigger will be found.
On Oct. 18, 2015, Portland Police responded to a report of a shooting at SW 3rd Ave and Burnside.
Officers found Dion Matthew dead from a gunshot wound in a nearby parking lot.
Witnesses say they saw people running from the area after the shooting. Investigators have yet to find a suspect.
On the 10th anniversary of Matthew’s death, his mother has a message for the person who shot him.
