Highlights of the Fosterfield 23rd on-farm ram sale included an increase on last year's top price and average, where 29 of 44 Merino pasture-reared rams sold to a top price of $2700, averaging $1215.

Last year, 25 of 50 rams sold to a top of $2000, with an average of $950.

The top-priced ram was a polled ram G52, sired by a Yarrowonga sire.
