Fort Campbell identified 34-year-old Sgt. Terell Seales, of Florence, New Jersey, as the soldier who died overseas in a training accident.

Seales joined the Army in 2021 and arrived at Fort Campbell in 2024 after serving in Texas and New York.

His death is under investigation.

An investigation has been launched into a Fort Campbell soldier who died in a training exercise in Hohenfels, Germany.

Fort Campbell announced that Sgt. Terrell Seales, 34, as the soldier who died from a vehicle accident during the unit's training at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center on Oct. 18.

“Sgt. Seales was an exceptional leader and soldier who inspired others to give their very best,” said Col. Duke Reim, Commander of the 2nd Mobile Brigade Combat Team (Strike), 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault)
