WARREN – Nothing like a good old fashion come-from-behind victory against a rival to keep a great season trending in the right direction.

In one of Center Line’s most thrilling games of the season if not decade, the Panthers overcame an early 14-0 deficit to defeat host Warren Lincoln 28-20 Saturday in a Macomb Area Conference crossover game, reclaiming the historic Brown Jug in the 78th meeting between the two rivals.

Junior quarterback Matt Fizia led the charge, completing 6-of-13 passes for 76 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Despite a tough start, Fizia showed poise in key moments to guide the Panthers’ comeback and help them move to 7-1 as one of the better starts in program history.
