The Toronto Blue Jays are returning to the World Series for the first time since 1993 after defeating the Seattle Mariners 4-3 in game 7.

It was a tense night at the Rogers Centre with the Blue Jays trailing the Mariners for most of the night. That was until a 3-run home run from George Springer changed everything with pandemonium erupting in the stands and across the country.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who has been unstoppable in the postseason, was named American League Championship Series MVP.

The Blue Jays will have home field advantage heading into the World Series with game one against the Los Angeles Dodgers set for Friday night.
