Margao, Oct 21: Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is unlikely to travel to India for Al Nassr’s upcoming AFC Champions League 2 Group D clash against FC Goa at the Fatorda Stadium on Wednesday, according to reports from Saudi Arabian media.
Despite earlier speculation that Ronaldo had applied for an Indian visa and might feature in the fixture, sources now indicate that the Portuguese legend will not be part of the travelling squad, despite multiple requests from FC Goa.
Ronaldo, who has been managing his workload in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, was also absent from Al Nassr’s first two matches of the competition.
