New Rehoboth Beach restaurant will honor friend who died unexpectedly

When the former Mark Showell Interiors building became available at 59 Rehoboth Ave. in Rehoboth Beach, Chef David Kneller said, he knew opening a restaurant there was something he had to do.

Kneller signed the lease-to-purchase agreement in February, he said, with partners David Kuzio and Rushabh and Kahan Maniar.

Kuzio, Kneller's best friend and fellow chef, died unexpectedly the next day, Kneller said.
