Lawrence Park Township is turning to Waste Management for their waste and recycling needs.

Starting Jan. 1, 2026, Lawrence Park will switch to Waste Management while the current services with Pro Waste will expire at the end of 2025. The new contract with Waste Management will run for three years.

The township reported on its website that it received several bids from multiple providers and selected Waste Management of Pennsylvania as the most cost effective for residents. However, each bid resulted in a price increase for Lawrence Park residents.
