Hulu Buys Netflix Spain Thriller Series ‘ Innate ‘

Hulu has landed U.S. rights to Innate , an upcoming psychological thriller from Fran Carballal ( Cicatriz ) and Enrique Lojo ( En Fin ) that Netflix’s Spanish arm commissioned. The series comes from ITV Studios-owned Plano a Plano, produced by Innato La Series AIE in association with Dynamic Television , which has distribution rights and struck the Hulu deal. It’s the latest example of an American streamer or network acquiring a European series in recent months, thawing out an icy patch where few programs made the transatlantic flight.
