The latest version of St. John’s city council is scheduled to hold its first public meeting this afternoon.
Five new faces are among the 11 who make up council, including re-elected Mayor Danny Breen.
And it runs the gamut for experience with seven-term Sandy Hickman joined by youngest-ever councillor Kate Cadigan.
It’s a sharp learning curve for the rooking councillors who face a full agenda today.
A swearing-in ceremony was held in the council chamber last week, following elections on October 8th.
That was six days later than municipal elections elsewhere in the province, and a direct result of the postal strike.
