Actor Aamir Khan expressed his grief following the death of veteran actor Asrani, a loss that has deeply affected the Indian film industry and his fans. As tributes poured in on social media, Aamir Khan Productions shared a heartfelt message remembering the late actor on Tuesday.

Asrani died on October 20 at the age of 84 after a prolonged illness.

In a message posted on its Instagram story, Aamir Khan Productions wrote, "We are deeply saddened by the passing of the legendary Asrani. A true icon whose wit, warmth and unforgettable performances lit up generations of cinema lovers. (sic)"

The tribute further read, "His legacy lives on in every laugh he sparked and every heart he touched. A timeless artist, remembered always. (sic)"
