Italian ace Jannik Sinner is set to miss his country’s Davis Cup Final 8 clash next month, while top-ranked Carlos Alcaraz name has been included in Spain’s team.

Sinner’s compatriot Lorenzo Musetti will also be unavailable for the Azzuri in the Davis Cup encounter slated to be held in Bologna between the 18th to the 23rd of November.

Italy captain Filippo Volandri has included Flavio Cobolli, Matteo Berrettini, Simone Bolelli, and Andrea Vavassori in his team.

“Jannik Sinner didn’t make himself available," Volandri said.
