New Delhi, Oct 21 (UNI) The world of Indian cinema has bid farewell to one of its most beloved and enduring figures, veteran actor Govardhan Asrani, whose infectious humour, impeccable timing, and unforgettable screen presence carved a permanent place in the hearts of millions.

Asrani’s passing marks the end of an era, but his legacy continues to live on through the laughter and joy he brought to audiences and fellow actors alike. Asrani passed away in Mumbai yesterday after a prolonged illness. He was 84.
