Discount supermarket giant Lidl has unveiled ambitious plans to launch hundreds of new stores across the UK, with a focus on town centres, retail parks and standalone sites. ‌

The company is on the hunt for locations that fit its standard store specifications, which include unit sizes ranging from 18,000 to 26,500 sq ft, a minimum of 100 dedicated car parking spaces and plots spanning 1.5 acres for standalone stores or up to 4 acres for mixed-use developments. ‌
