Rajya Sabha MP Lahar Singh Siroya met Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Tuesday, stating that their discussion centred around the state’s development rather than politics.
Speaking to ANI, Siroya said, “The discussion wasn’t political; it was about the state’s development. I’ve assured them that we will also discuss this with the central government.”
He further urged the state government to reconsider its flagship guarantee schemes, claiming they have hindered economic growth. “They should reconsider the guarantee schemes because these schemes have only slowed down the pace of development in the state,” Siroya said.
