As temperatures plummet, supermarkets are beginning to stock energy-saving devices aimed at helping reduce household energy bills. Aldi is among the retailers offering gadgets designed to assist families in saving money , and the discount chain is bringing back a sought-after winter product. ‌

From October 26, the supermarket is restocking its £34.99 Winged Heated Airer , which helps households dry laundry without needing to crank up the heating. With a 'large drying surface', Aldi said the winged airer can 'dry clothes, sheets and towels'. ‌
