Drivers have been issued an HMRC (HM Revenue and Customs) alert, as they could be paying too much in tax.
This is specifically for motorists that use their vehicles for "anything business related," as many may be unaware of their tax obligations and entitlements.
This is according to Kim Sones, who gives business and financial advice on social media, as she warned drivers they could be "overpaying tax."
Kim said: "If you're using your own car for anything business-related like meeting clients, quoting for jobs or picking up materials, and you're not claiming mileage, you're overpaying tax, and here's why.
"HMRC lets you claim 45p a mile for the first 10,000 business miles each tax year, and 25p a mile after that.
"So, if you drive 10,000 miles, that's £4,500 you can claim
