Madison Square Garden will host the opening game between the New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers on October 22.
After a heartbreaking exit from last season’s playoffs, the Knicks are hoping high to build strongly for the next season. Last season, they recorded 43 out of 82 games and scored 115.8 points per game. Under the new head coach Mike Brown’s leadership and Jalen Bronson locked in as a major presence, the Knicks are moving forward with a new direction to chase a strong contention.
Meanwhile, the Cavaliers had an early exit from the last season and scored more than 111.7 points. With Donovan Mitchell stepping in as a key presence, the team found a substantial boost to make a deep playoff run.
Both teams carry a strong rotation and want an early momentum to stay competitive
