"Avatar" fans have a lot to be excited about because a fighting game based on the franchise is set for release next year.

The game, which has the working title "Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game," was announced during the New York City Comic Con.

It will be released in the summer of 2026.

According to a report by Engadget , the game will be developed by Gameplay Group International. A trailer has been released as part of the announcement, which can be viewed below.

The "Avatar" game, which already has a Steam listing, will reportedly feature 12 characters at launch. More will be added on a seasonal basis. The Steam listing also includes some images from the game.
