I still can’t believe it. The Toronto Blue Jays are heading to the World Series!
As a lifelong Blue Jays fan, last night was something truly special. I’ve ridden every high and low with this team, through the rebuilding years, the heartbreaks, and the near-misses. But last night, watching the Jays clinch the American League Championship Series against the Seattle Mariners, I felt like a kid again.
The last time we made it to the World Series, I was just 11 and 12 years old — those magical back-to-back championship years in 1992 and 1993.
