According to California Highway Patrol, one person has died following a major crash on State Route 41 in Morro Bay.

Officials say the vehicle caught fire, though it's unconfirmed whether it was related to the cause of death.

As a result, travelers should expect delays this morning at Bear Ridge Road, or choose alternate routes.
