Russia reiterated on Tuesday that its conditions for peace in Ukraine remain unchanged since the August summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Moscow also said it remains unclear when the next meeting between the two leaders will take place.

Trump has repeatedly expressed his desire to end the war in Ukraine, Europe’s deadliest conflict since World War II, though he has acknowledged that negotiating peace has proven more difficult than arranging a ceasefire in Gaza.
