Dave's Hot Chicken is giving out free sliders this week in honor of Drake's birthday.

Customers can download the Dave's Hot Chicken mobile app to claim a spicy sandwich from the Los Angeles-based fast casual chain on Thursday, Oct. 23, the restaurant said on Instagram .

The chicken shop, which has one Vermont location in South Burlington, said it is celebrating Toronto rapper Drake, whom it calls the "OG goat," ahead of his 39th birthday. The "God's Plan" and "Passionfruit" singer is one of the brand's investors.

"Happy birthday and more life and chicken for our fam #champagnepapi," the restaurant said in an Instagram post , referencing the name of Drake's fifth commercial mixtape .
