Police have launched an investigation after thieves burgled a home and made off with an expensive car. Suspects smashed their way into a Warwickshire home via the back doors in the early hours of Friday (17 Oct)

The home, located in the Heathcote area of Leamington Spa , close to Harbury Lane, was targeted by opportunistic thieves who stole keys to the resident's Mercedes.

Officers are now asking for help from locals and residents, asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything to get in touch. They've also eager to hear from anyone who might have footage from the area.

The safer neighbourhood police team covering the area shared the incident to alert locals online.
