The general municipal elections are fast approaching, with mail-in ballots beginning to arrive at voters’ homes last week.
The general election is set for Nov. 4 and will take place across municipalities in Iron and Washington counties. Some races may see incumbent mayors and council members retain their seats or be replaced by newcomers once votes are tallied and finalized.
What follows is a general guide to what voters need to know, including the locations of in-person voting centers and ballot drop boxes, as well as links to St. George News’ coverage of the candidates.
Registering to vote
Voter registration must be completed by Friday, Oct. 24, and received before 5 p.m. Registration can be completed online or through your local County Clerk’s Office.
