PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- "Million Dollar Quartet" shines a spotlight on four major figures in rock and roll: Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins.
The show is based on a real-life jam session between the four in December of 1956 at Sun Records, with its legendary owner, Sam Phillips.
Along with the five men, the show includes one woman named Dyanne. She is a fictional character based on Elvis's real-life girlfriend at the time who was there that night and sang along with the quartet.
The musical weaves together drama, humor and a whole lot of music-from Blue Suede Shoes to Hound Dog, Great Balls of Fire, I Walk the Line and Peace in the Valley.
