IndiGo will restart its flight operations from Terminal 2 (T2) of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on October 26. This follows a temporary relocation earlier this year due to maintenance work. The airline aims to enhance passenger convenience and streamline operations with this revised terminal strategy.

Under the new plan, IndiGo will operate from all three terminals at Delhi Airport: T1, T2, and T3. Flights numbered 6E 2000 to 6E 2999 will operate from Terminal 2, while flights numbered 6E 5000 to 6E 5999, along with all international flights, will depart from Terminal 3. The remaining domestic flights will continue to operate from Terminal 1.

IndiGo stated, "With the objective of enhancing customer convenience and airport efficiency, IndiGo will operate flights numbered 6E 2000–6E 2999 to/from Terminal 2, and flights numbered 6E 5000–6E 5999, along with all international departures, to/from Terminal 3. All other domestic flights will continue to operate to/from Terminal 1."

This change comes after all IndiGo flights were temporarily moved from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 in April 2025 due to maintenance activities. With the reopening of Terminal 2, IndiGo has resumed normal operations across all terminals. Passengers are advised to check their flight numbers and terminal details before traveling, as there may be minor schedule adjustments. The latest updates can be accessed through IndiGo’s website or mobile app.

In addition to resuming operations at T2, IndiGo is expanding its international services. The airline will launch daily direct flights between New Delhi and Guangzhou, China, starting November 10. The outbound flight will leave Delhi at 9:45 PM and arrive in Guangzhou at 4:40 AM. The return flight will depart Guangzhou at 5:50 AM and reach Delhi at 10:10 AM. This marks a significant step in restoring direct air connectivity between India and China, which had been suspended since 2020. IndiGo also restarted daily flights between Kolkata and Guangzhou on October 26, becoming one of the first Indian airlines to resume this route.
