Two and a half months ago, Marion County high school football teams had their entire 2025 season in front of them. The rivalry games and battles for district titles were just concepts back then.

In 10 weeks, we’ve learned so much about each team. We’ve seen the top defense in the county hold local opponents to a shade under two touchdowns in each meaning. We’ve seen the top offense fluctuate throughout the season.
