Paterson Man, 40, Struck, Killed At Route 80 Intersection: Cops

A 40-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle early Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the intersection of two major roadways in Paterson, authorities said.

Damon McNeill, a city resident, was struck at Route 19 and Route 80 around 6 a.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Officer-In-Charge Patrick Murray said. He was subsequently pronounced dead.

The investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes available.
