Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba had yet another big performance in Monday night's win over the Houston Texans.
Smith-Njigba, the NFL's leading receiver with 819 yards through seven games, caught eight passes for 123 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 27-19 victory, giving him five 100-yard games this season, tied for the second most in a season in franchise history, one behind Steve Largent, who had six in 1979. Smith-Njigba also joined DK Metcalf as one of two receivers in franchise history with three consecutive 100-yard games.
And as has been the case all season, Smith-Njigba did a lot of that damage lined up out wide, as opposed to from the slot, where he spent most of his time during his first two seasons.
