ST. PAUL — Keith Ellison announced Tuesday that he is campaigning for a third term as Minnesota attorney general in 2026, framing himself as a “people’s attorney who fights for them.”

“Since you elected me seven years ago, we’ve won tough fights to afford your life in the greatest state of America,” Ellison said in a Facebook video Tuesday morning, Oct. 21.

Ellison, a DFLer, targeted his criticisms on President Donald Trump, whose policies Ellison argued were making it harder for everyday people to afford the basics while boosting the wealth and well-being of the wealthy.
