A South Bay mom is asking for the public to help find a group who, police say, hospitalized her teen daughter after a brutal assault at a popular beach destination.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot at Belmont Park in Mission Beach.
Graphic video shows the 16-year-old girl after police say she'd been beaten and pistol-whipped to the ground and then repeatedly stomped until she was unconscious.
“Seeing her body just lay there, without her moving, and they continued to kick her in the face and viciously … I don’t understand,” said Nallely Rodriguez, the girl’s mother.
Rodriguez showed NBC 7 pictures of her daughter's body and face that were bruised and bloodied from the attack. The mom, who said nothing could justify what happened, teared up watching the vid
