Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced an annual allocation of Rs 100 crore for the construction of residential buildings for police personnel over the next three years and the construction of five new barracks for SDRF personnel at Bhawali in Nainital, Dhalmalla Kanda in Bageshwar, Nainidanda Dhumakot in Pauri, Ghansali in Tehri and Satpuli in Pauri. He stated this during the Police Martyrs’ Memorial Day ceremony held at the Police Lines in Dehradun on Tuesday, where tributes were paid to police and paramilitary personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty.
