The Janesville volleyball team went 3-2 in their home tournament on Sept. 20. Tayah Pollock of Janesville took home more than three wins with her team that day, she also took home 2,000 career assists, being a dominating junior-year setter.
“I wasn’t expecting it that day, for sure,” Pollock explained. “I kind of had an idea of where I was at, but my family and coaches really surprised me with the poster and everything.”
When she was a sophomore, Pollock was recognized for her hard work and talent by earning third team all-state. She said that volleyball is special to her, and she hopes to continue playing after high school.
“I would love to keep volleyball in my life and play at the next level,” she said.
