Former Patriots coach Bill Belichick has advanced to the next stage of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s voting process.

The Hall of Fame officially narrowed its list from 15 to 12. Belichick was joined by Bill Arnsparger, Tom Coughlin, Alex Gibbs, Mike Holmgren, Chuck Knox, Buddy Parker, Dan Reeves, Marty Schottenheimer, George Seifert, Mike Shanahan and Clark Shaughnessy.

A further narrowed list of nine will be announced next month and eventually culled all the way to one for the final ballot.
