Ashley National Forest announced Monday plans to implement prescribed fires this fall to help reduce overgrown vegetation. Prescribed fires planned in Ashley National Forest include Argyle Piles, Moon Lake Piles, Yellowstone Piles, Mill Park Piles, Deer Lodge, and Slash Collection Piles. “We ask the public to use caution in the area during this time, and to avoid the active fire when recreating,” shares the announcement. “Watch for warning signs along roads and trails near all prescribed fire areas before and during burns.
