IOWA CITY — After falling short of an NCAA Tournament bid last season despite a quality campaign most of the way, Iowa baseball returns to action in 2026.
The Oct. 21 release of the entire slate spells out the Iowa roadmap. The Hawkeyes begin the year in Phoenix at the MLB Desert Invitational (Feb. 13-15), with specific matchups being announced at a later date.
Iowa's scheduled home opener is Feb. 24 versus Wartburg, with the first weekend series at Duane Banks Field slated for March 6-8 against Lindenwood. The Hawkeyes start Big Ten play with series at Penn State (March 13-15) and Michigan State (March 20-22) before returning home to host 2025 College World Series participant UCLA (March 25-29)
