IOWA CITY — Mark Gronowski delivered a defining moment in his Hawkeye career with a 67-yard rush against Penn State. The Iowa quarterback helped set up the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter with his long scamper. On the very next play, Kaden Wetjen ran it in from eight yards to give the Hawkeyes a lead that they would not relinquish.

Gronowski ran for 130 yards and two touchdowns, which was a pretty heavy workload for someone who didn't finish the game against Indiana due to a knee injury a few weeks earlier. But even with the tread he put on his tires against Penn State, Gronowski's health continues to take steps in the right direction.
