Brandon Graham is back, so what does defensive coordinator Vic Fangio think of the veteran edge rusher’s return?
“From the start I was teasing him not to retire all the way back to last February and March,” Fangio said. “I’ve run into him and we’ve talked when he has come by. I always tease him about (returning), trying to light the fire.”
It was lit and Tuesday it became official that Graham has rejoined the team after announcing his retirement in March.
What can Graham provide for the defense at age 37 and in his 16th season?
“We’ll see,” Fangio said. “We’ll see what kind of shape he’s in and what kind of retention he has from last year. Shape comes in two forms. One is your conditioning, but football shape, too. Contact shape, so hopefully the sooner the better.”
